Tips for finding the magnet that's best for your application:
The magnet or magnetic therapy device should cover all of the area that you wish to treat. Magnetic fields go straight out, they do not spread out much. It is best to use a magnet or device that is able to cover the area that you wish to affect. If other companies are not providing this information, it is not possible to know if you are getting a sufficient magnetic gauss field to the area that you wish to treat. In other words, they are not providing the information needed to follow Dr Philpott's magnetic research protocols, such as those included in his Magnetic Health Quarterly research reports.
Be sure the magnetic gauss field will reach the area you wish to affect (a minimum of 25 gauss is considered to be therapeutic by DR Philpott). The size and materials of the magnet or device greatly changes it's ability to provide a strong magnetic field, and the distance at which it can provide a sufficient therapeutic magnetic field to be of benefit.. A magnet that can provide a therapeutic field on the surface of the body is quite different from a magnet that would affect a large joint or internal organ further away from the magnet..
